Vance Danzy
Vance is a dedicated educator and the current Principal of Desert Vista High School. He focuses on building relationships with students and parents, advocating for proactive communication and support to foster trust within the school community.
"Education is not something that you go into and you're gonna instantly be gratified. Very rarely does that happen. Usually, gratification in education comes 10, five, 10 years later."
"Building relationships and staying in contact with parents...helps to build trust with families and the community."
"I've been fortunate enough at the school that I'm at that the team and my teachers jump in and they don't complain. So having only three to five teachers gone this year is much better... than what we had last year."
"Just to restate the call to action, if you are an educator and you're looking to go into this profession, make sure when you go into an interview, you interview the people interviewing you."
